REHOBETH - COFFEE COUNTY: This morning family and friends of Chase Henley gathered at Hebron Cemetery to dedicate the monument erected in memory of Chase.
Chase died in November 2014. His family erected a monument in his memory in the family cemetery in Coffee County. Chase was creamated and the family will make a decision where and when to spread the ashes.
This gives family and friends a place to remember and reflect about Chase.
Today's service with family and friends, was a time of prayer, lighting of candles by Daniel, Chase's dad, Spencer and two others. The two songs and some tears.
Chase had been a senior at Rehobeth High School just prior to his death. He would be walking, and hopefully will be recognized, this graduation.
Chase was a great young man that my son, Spencer, and others could call their friend. Chase was a young man that I could call my friend.
Chase Henley’s life and death has taught me many lessons. It was my honor and privilege to join my son, Spencer, my niece Jana Holland and others in the dedication of the monument.
TAKE TIME - listen and love.
