Now you can sample some of the area’s best chili in a new cooking competition held at the Tri-State BBQ Festival on Friday night, April 11th. The Dothan chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity will be holding the competition and invite cooks to participate. Spectators get to sample the chili and vote for their favorites by purchasing a tasting pass to sample the entries.  The tasting tent will be located to the right of the main stage at the BBQ Festival and open for sampling from 6:30 until samples run out.

To enter your chili in the competition, complete the form (below). It’s $20 to enter, but you receive 2 tickets into the BBQ Festival ($20 value) and all proceeds benefit the March of Dimes. Although the event is held at the Tri-State BBQ Festival, it is being run entirely by the Wiregrass Sigmas. Any questions regarding the chili competition can be directed to James Winfrey at 334-498-0589
