Chipley man arrested during Search Warrant for Drug Charges

Daniel Luis Diaz Cruz, 25, of Chipley was arrested during the night on Wednesday.  Members of the Washington County Drug Task Force, which consist of the Chipley Police Department and Washington County Sheriff’s Office executed a narcotics search warrant at the residence of 564 2nd Street in Chipley, which concluded several weeks of investigation.  Officers found that Cruz was in possession of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia items used in the distribution of controlled substances.  Cruz was transported to the Washington County Jail where he was booked on charges resulting from the execution of the search warrant.  Please continue to call in with any information concerning illegal drug activities.
