Chipley Man Charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Cocaine.

On May 25 at approximately 5:46pm officers with the Chipley Police Department stopped a Ford truck just off of U.S. 90 East in Chipley. The officer observed the driver of the vehicle throw something, about the time the driver stepped out of his vehicle. Officers retrieved the thrown items to find out it was several pills that are a controlled substance. A search of the driver’s truck also found him to be in possession of cocaine.

Jeffery B. Driggers, 33 years of age, of Gilbert Dr. Chipley was arrested and booked into the county jail on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Cocaine.
