Chipley Police Arrest Two on Drug Charges

On October 07 at approximately 3:20am officers with the Chipley Police Department was dispatched to a local hotel located by Interstate 10. The call was received as a suspicious person. Upon arrival officers made contact with the hotel clerk. The clerk advised that a white male came inside and was inquiring about a work crew that was possibly staying at the hotel. When the clerk advised the subject that information could not be released the subject ask to use the restroom. The clerk advised the subject was allowed to use the restroom but the subject never returned. The clerk became worried that the subject was possibly inside wondering around the hotel. After searching the hotel the officers located the subject along with another white male and two black males. CPD officers identified all four subjects that were from Moultrie, Georgia. The investigation led to both white males being arrested for possession of drugs.
