Church Burglary In Geneva County

On August 19, 2012 a Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church member contacted the Geneva Count Sheriff's Department in reference to a burglary that ocurred at the church between the dates of August 15-19, 2012. Itis reported that the burglar(s) broke into the back window of the church. The burglar(s) then stole several electronics. Among all fo the items stolen, the church members say that they would just be happy if they were to receive the safe back with the Church History papers. The safe contained papers that were at least 100 years old.

The Geneva County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating the burglary. The Geneva County Sheriff's Office do have some leads in the case. The Geneva County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone who may have seen anyhting suspicious between the dates of August 15-19, 2012, are urged to contact them at 334-684-5660
