Circle City BMX needs your help

Over the last several weeks, people have been riding their bikes on top of our brand new tarps and have been tearing big holes in them because they are crashing. These tarps cost the track $2000 and some are now ruined.
CCBMX is flourishing because of the hard work from its staff and the growing participation of riders within our community, and to have vandals co...me out here and tear up our tarps which will allow rain to penetrate and destroy our racing surface is unacceptable and infuriating! Although Westgate Park is a public facility, the BMX track is NOT open to the public unless there is a USA BMX sanctioned event going on and it is TRESPASSING if someone hops the fence to the track.
So we, the staff at CCBMX, ask for YOUR help to be vigilant and notify authorities if you see anyone inside our fence when the track is not open. The health of our local racing program is at stake if we cannot control this environment. The city and the Dept of Leisure Services will be notified to increase surveillance of our facility when we are not present, but we know many of our followers on Facebook frequent Westgate Park and I ask that all of you keep your eyes peeled when you are out there. Please call 334-685-0353 if you see or hear anything or Dothan PD. We are non-profit and have worked hard on buying these new tarps to keep the track dry and have a safe surface for our kids to ride for these vandals to mess them up and risk our kids safety. Thanks for helping us out anyway you can,
