We want to thank you for your patience during the restoration event! The Crews have been working very long hours and we desired to get everyone in power as soon as possible. We have Crews from Troy, Andalusia, Tuskegee and Opelika assisting Dothan Utilities with power restoration today. We are also working with Water Department, Wastewater Collections, Street Department Crews and General Services Department (as well as Fire and Police Departments) to clear areas and respond to needs. In addition, our Asplundh crews are working to with us to clear the lines and restore power. We have a large number of vehicles with equipment and materials on the roadways at this time. Please stay away from the Crews working and out of the Job areas, this will help speed up the restoration. Again, thank you for your patience! We estimate less than 1,500 customers currently without power.
