City of Dothan Memorial Day Sanitation Collection Schedule

In observance of the Memorial Day holiday, the City of Dothan offices will be closed on Monday, May 30, 2016. There will be no pick-up for garbage (automated green cart), recycling, or trash (leaves, limbs, junk, etc). Collection for garbage and recycling is rescheduled to Wednesday, June 1, 2016. There is no make-up day for trash.


Normal collections will resume after Memorial Day. Please remember to place all garbage, recycling and trash by the curb prior to 6:00a.m. on the day of your pick up. If you have any questions, the Environmental Services Division can be contacted at 615-3820 on Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
