Tri-Community, AL: Yesterday, Enterprise Communications dispatched Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department to a grass fire on Coffee County Road 725 at the Consulation Cemetery. Upon arrival of the first Tri-Com fire unit, he advised they needed to go ahead and roll the tanker due to the fire spreading so quickly. Tri-Com’s Brush Truck arrived on scene and immediately extinguished the fire. The fire did not damage any head stones in the cemetery, but did catch the grass all around the graves on fire.
