COFFEE COUNTY:   Coffee County Sheriff Dave Sutton and members of Coffee County Sheriff Department executed a search warrant in the New Brockton area. The purpose of the search warrant was in the investigation of a possible meth lab.

While conducting the search Deputies found thousands of dollars which has been stolen in the Coffee County area. There was not a meth lab at the residence.

Coffee County Sheriff Investigators continue to conduct the investigation into the recovered stolen items. Further information will be released on Friday.

In the executed search warrant Coffee County Sheriff Dave Sutton and members of the Coffee County Sheriff Department DID FIND drugs in the residence in the search warrant. At the time of the original information I misunderstood. The information was provided but I misunderstood.

The Coffee County Sheriff Department will issue a press statement the first of the week as all information is compiled.
