Columbia Man Charged with Theft

On December 16, 2014 the Dothan Police Department made a felony arrest following a recent theft investigation.


 


Investigators say Matthew Towns took multiple electronic items from a former friend without permission, and then sold them at a pawn shop. Towns was taken into custody after admitting to taking the property.


 



  • Matthew David Towns, white male, 21 years of age, of Columbia, Alabama was arrested and charged with second degree theft of property. A bond amount has been set at $2,500.00.


 


All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
