Community Meeting Tonight to Address Suicide Prevention, Covenant UMC

Rickey has sounded the alarm many times about our community coming together to address the recent suicides in our area.  Sherry Koogler has heard Rickey's call for someone to step up and address the recent band of suicides in our community.  


Sherry has scheduled a meeting for Monday night May 11 at 7:00pm.  The meeting will be held at Covenant United Methodist Church.  While Sherry has the blessings of her pastor at Covenant this meeting is about our community (the Wiregrass area) coming together to address suicide prevention. Rose Blakely Phillips, Wiregrass Suicide Prevention Services will share about the services they offer.


There is a suicide prevention hotline that is a national hotline, our community needs a local hotline.  This will be a brainstorming meeting.

MONDAY NIGHT, MAY 11,  7:00 PM, COVENANT UMC CHILDREN'S WORSHIP CENTER... come and join others as we address suicide prevention in the Wiregrass.
