DOTHAN:  Dothan Police are asking the public to use extreme caution while driving through this area. The speed limit is clearly marked as 30 mph.  Some have called it a speed trap but the law states that in construction areas the speed is reduced and fines are doubled. So please slow down when traveling in this area.
