Geneva, AL: Yetserday, 34 Central dispatched Geneva Police, Geneva Rescue Squad, and Geneva Fire Department to a motor vehicle crash with rollover. Central received reports that a male subject was trying to pull a female subject out of the vehicle. When the female got out, both subjects started throwing things out of the car. When Officers arrived on scene, they found that the male subject was also in the vehicle. The male subject was just trying to help the female out of the car. When Officers arrived on scene, they cancelled Geneva Rescue. Within 5 minutes of cancelling Geneva Rescue, the Officers requested them to respond because the female subject had passed out and fell to the dirt. Geneva Rescue responded quickly and checked the patient out. The patent did not want to go to the hospital. No one was transported to the hospital by Geneva Rescue. The crash is under investigation by the Geneva Police Department. The vehicle was towed by J & E Towing and Recovery.
Corrected: The female subject called me and told me that a dog ran out in front of her and she swerved to miss it. When she swerved she overcorrected and it caused her to leave the roadway. They also were NOT throwing things out of the vehicle. They were picking items up that had flown out of the window when the vehicle overturned. She stated that she also passed out because of a medical condition.
