Cottonwood Police in a Vehicle Pursuit

HOUSTON COUNTY: Cottonwood Police on patrol met a red sports car traveling South on Cottonwood Road at 80 mph. The cottonwood unit turned around on the vehicle and tried to catch up to it. In the meantime the sports car struck another vehicle and kept going. The Cottonowwd Officer then called out a 10-100(High Speed Chase) on the vehicle heading South Bound on Cottonwood Road. The vehicle continued to travel Southbound into Florida reaching speeds over 140 mph. The cottonwood Unit called off the pursuit and went back to attempt to locate the vehicle the driver struck, but that person had already left.
