Cottonwood Police in Foot Pursuit on Dyras Road

HOUSTON COUNTY: At around 8:05 PM....... Cottonwood Police Sgt. Tony Money attempted to stop a black truck when it pulled into driveway in the 1800 block of Dyras Road. The black male driver then took off on foot. UNCONFIRMED reports are the subject has some mental issues and possibly off his meds. 


Houston County Deputies are responding to back up the Sgt. Money. Sgt. Money has requested the Chief Meddows responded with their K-9. 


Cottonwood Officer is asking about an ETA on his back up. Ashford Officer heard the call and responded to back up the Cottonwood Officer. 


Houston County Deputies have arrived with Sgt. Money and the search for the suspect is under way. They are attempting to find out all they can about the man to hopefully bring this to a safe ending for all.....
