County Engineer Barkley Kirkland Refused To Help Volunteers

HOUSTON COUNTY: It was requested that the lady who does the drafting for Houston County to attend the Houston County Volunteer Fire Meeting.
The VOLUNTEERS needed the draftsman person to assist in drawing the fire lines and EMS lines for the fire departments.
There are 17 volunteer fire and 5 volunteer EMS departments.
Apparently Barkley Kirkland said the heck with the request for the draftsman to assist. The 17 fire chiefs met tonight but were told County Engineer Barkley Kirkland would not let the drafts person assist.
That is a shame when people are volunteering their time to save lives and property.
