Criminal Jury Trial Week In Houston County

HOUSTON COUNTY:   Today kicks off a week of criminal jury trials in the Houston County Courthouse. This will be the third consecutive week of jury trials for Presiding Circuit Judge Butch Binford.

Two weeks ago Judge Binford tried a civil case in Houston County. The trial began on Monday and ended on Thursday. It was a case agaisnt Ford Motor where the defendant, Ford Motors, won the case.

Last week Judge Binford was in Henry County for a week of criminal jury trials. Judge Binford, Judge Anderson, Judge Conaway, Judge Mendheim all will be having criminal jury trials. Judge Moulton will have a week of Civil Jury Trials.

Judges Ingram and Judge Lewis will have a mixture week of civil, criminal, juvenile and domestic cases.
