Cruise-In Benefit April 25 at Harley Davidson of Dothan

Bring your classic ride, come on your motorcycle, or just show up to this benefit cruise-in for Tom Clausen. Tom is self-employed and just found out he has cancer really bad and will be  out of work for quite a while. Hopefully, disability will kick in at some point, but right now they need your prayers and some money to help with medicine, bills, transportation, etc.  This cruise in will feature food for sale and drawings and all the money will go to the Clausen family. 

This is the info from Tom himself about his cancer. "I went to uab yesterday. basically thay agreed with Dothan doctors. what that means is this. my throat cancer which is what they found first is stage 4 type A which means its treatable. but the other 4 spots they found are in my bones. right hip. right shoulder. spine and chest. they are stage 4 type C which is not treatable. so what we are gonna do is start chemo next week, one treatment every 3 weeks for 3 months. then look at it again. if it looks like its helping we shall continue. if not we have to back up and look at other options which are very limited. now if chemo is working they say I have a year to 3 years with 3 years stretching it. if it aint working and we don’t find something else they give me 6-9 months. there is no cure, what they want is for the chemo to make the time I do have left more comfortable, a better quality of life as they say.

I reckon that’s about it. so with God, myself, my blood family, and my racing family I say bring it on. I will fight this. im gonna win. I will see yall at the races. thank you to each of you and I mean all yall, racing has been a blessing to me these past 4 years. the people I have met are all awesome.
