The Enterprise Thunder Elite Basketball 15 U boys team, their coaches, and families once again traveled to the Atlanta, GA area to play basketball.  The Thunder Elite Basketball Team played against several teams during the weekend, and even though they didn't actually win the championship, they are still winners! Why are they still winners some may ask, so let me answer this for you.

In today's world it is accepted by society for our youth to be raised without a "father" figure in the home; which forces the mothers to take the role of both mother and father. Most of the Thunder Elite young men have a "father" figure at home; but there is a few young men that lack a father figure due to one reason or another. Perhaps due to death, a divorce, or the simple fact that a father doesn't show interest in his son's activities. It's really a shame that the absent father is missing out on something he will never be able to get back...precious memories of his son's childhood.

We all know the saying, "when one door closes, another door opens". Sounds familiar doesn't it? God always makes a way. He sends Godly men that really care about these young men to mentor them, to teach them love, respect, discipline, goal setting, and so much more. Some of these men are called dad, husband, brother, uncle, friend, etc. However, these young men of the Thunder Elite basketball team call them "COACH".  God makes a way to always open a closed door and allows those that are needed to fill a void to walk through that door just when they are needed most, even if it is a gym door.

We are so thankful for all of our Coaches: Everette Marshall, Juan Hayes, Joshua Boykin, Charlie Smith, Tre'Von McNeal and Morris Murphy for walking through a door for not only the 15U team but for all the teams. They don't have to give up their time from their families, but they choose to take the role of coach to help mentor our sons. For this we are truly grateful. They have coaches that truly care for each of these young men on and off the court. Their caring doesn't stop when the season is over, it continues even after the season ends. We consider one another family...a Thunder family! This is what makes the Thunder Elite winners!

The Thunder Elite team consists of Dalvin Dix, Jajuan Hayes, Roosevelt Weaver, Keaun Samuel, Richmond Singletary, Zach Davis, Carson Cavalier , Jaheim Powell, Cameron Cavalier, Justin Peeples, Andrew Wheeler, Bryce Moore, Charlie Smith III, Kenny Thomas, Bryce Roberts, Xander O'Connell and Brynt Taylor, Charvez Hill, and Joell Pierre.
Even though not all the players were present this time for the tournament due to family obligations, we still stick together as a family should.

As we say...THUNDER.....BOOM!

Thank you to all of our coaches,

With love from....The Thunder Family!
