DALE COUNTY: Congratulations to Sheriff Wally Olson for being selected as the VFW National Law Enforcement Officer of the Year for 2013 – 2014. This past week The Veterans of Foreign Wars honored Dale County Sheriff Wally Olson with the national award for law enforcement during a awards ceremony hosted at the Daleville VFW Post 6020,


Olson won the honor at the district level, before going on to win at the state and national level. Sheriff Olson was quoted as saying "It’s an honor to serve my community. I’m living my dream."


Sheriff Olson worked his way up through the ranks and was elected as sheriff eight years ago. Sheriff Olson has the greatest passion for the job and his community. 


Again congratulations to Sheriff Wally Olson for being selected as the VFW National Law Enforcement Officer of the Year.
