Dale County Sheriff Air Unit Rescues Missing Juvenile

DALE COUNTY:    Dale County Sheriff Air Unit in cooperation with Coffee County Sheriff Deputies rescued a missing juvenile Friday evening.


The juvenile was missing on County Road 636 at County Road 617 in Coffee County. The juvenile was lost in a creek.


The Dale County Sheriff Helicopter, equipped with special equipment, located the juvenile and directed rescue teams to the juvenile.


Thanks to Retired Dale County Sheriff Bryant Mixon and current Dale County Sheriff Wally Olson for the forward thinking in the creation of the air units. Dale County Sheriff Chief Deputy Tim McDonald has worked hard to grow the unit and keep the aircraft equipped with the latest technology.
