Dale Superintendent Donny Bynum plans to step down

Dale County Superintendent Donny Bynum announced Thursday he will not seek re-election in 2016 and will leave the job May 1.  Bynum was first elected in 2008 and re-elected four years later.


He will be best remembered for the handling of the hostage crises in 2013.
