HOUSTON COUNTY:    One week ago 19 year old Danny ( DJ ) Brown’s life was tragically taken in a automobile aaccident in Ashford. With DJ was his daughter.

In the accident DJ was thrown from the vehicle. His daughter who was not even one year old was safely strapped in her car seat which was securely fastened to the vehicle as designed. The child, Kaitlyn, suffered only minor injuries.

Following DJ’s sudden death the family was left with a large funeral bill. The friends of DJ went to work to help his family raise money in order to pay for the funeral expenses for DJ. They contacted me and I posted on the web site the need.

Following the funeral on Friday afternoon and Saturday friends of DJ worked a car wash and sold hamburgers and hotdogs in Ashford. They not only asked for help but the friends "worked" as a team to earn the money to assist in paying for the funeral expenses.

On Monday the Brown family notified me the funeral expenses were paid in full. On their behalf they asked me to notify the community the bill had been paid.

On behalf of the Brown family they wish to tell the community and friends THANK YOU for all you did to help with this tremendous financial expense.

Tiffany and Kaitlyn

Tiffany Brunson, age 18, is the mother of Kaitlyn and was DJ’s fiance’. They lived together and were working together to raise their daughter.

With DJ’s death it has now left Kaitlyn with no father. Tiffany will not get the chance to marry DJ as planned. She will now have to raise Kaitlyn only with the help of family and not with the help of the one she loved.

As with most young couples they worked paycheck to paycheck to make ends meet. When the wreck occured Tiffany was at work.

She and the child has financial needs. Kaitlyn’s first birthday is this week.

If anyone wishes to make a contribution to help Tiffany and Kaitlyn you can make a check payable to Tiffany Brunson and send to Post Office Box 1482 Dothan, Al. 36302. You can drop a contribution to my office, A - Advantage Bonding 109 East Adams Street in Dothan and give to Robin my secretary.

NO ONE asked me to make this appeal to you. However Tiffany and DJ were friends of my daughter Emily and her boyfriend Mike. In fact they went to BAMAJAM 2012 with Emily and Mike. I know she has needs and that is why I am mentioning the need.

I always follow the Ask, Seek and Knock. If you are never made aware of a need you never have a chance to help. That is the sole purpose of mentioning the need.
