DeFuniak Springs Man Arrested for Sexual Battery of a Child

The Walton County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) arrested Jerold Lee Jones, 39, of DeFuniak Springs, Fla., for sexual battery on a child under 18 years old. He was arrested Jan. 27.
The WCSO investigation began Jan. 15 after investigators received allegations that Jones sexually abused a child under 18 years old.
Jones was charged with two counts of sexual battery on a child under the age of 18, a first-degree felony.
He was booked into the Walton County Jail.
