DeFuniak Springs Man Charged with Production of Methamphetamine

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) arrested Jeremy Miracle, 24, of DeFuniak, Fla., on multiple drug charges. He was arrested Jan. 28.
The investigation began Jan. 28 after Deputy Craig Sherrouse conducted a traffic stop on US Highway 331 on a vehicle with an obscure tag.
During the traffic stop, Miracle allegedly stated that his license was suspended and showed the deputy a smoking pipe after the deputy asked if he had anything illegal in the vehicle. After Miracle provided consent to search the vehicle,Deputy Sherrouse recovered what appeared to be prescription drugs, marijuana, two smoking pipes possibly used with marijuana or methamphetamine, and items commonly used to produce methamphetamine.
Miracle was charged with one count of production of methamphetamine, a second-degree felony; one count of possession of paraphernalia to transport drugs, a third-degree felony; one count of possession of marijuana, a first-degree misdemeanor; two counts of possession of drugs without a prescription; and one count of driving with a suspended license, a second-degree misdemeanor.
He was booked into the Walton County Jail.
