Dennis Coe Henry County School Supt. Announces His Next Move

Henry County School System Superintendant Dennis Coe announces his new position with the state board of education. He's accepted a position at the board of education working with school intervention and finances.

After seven years of serving as Henry County Superintendant, Coe said he is ready to take on new responsibilities. "I'm going to be able to take the knowledge that we've used here in Henry County and use that in other parts of the state. That will benefit other systems and help them manage through these hard times," said Coe.

He will begin working for the state on February 15^th, and Lesa Knowles, the current assistant superintendant, will step in for the remainder of the school year.
