Deputies Assaulted in Lovetown

LOVETOWN: Two Houston County Deputies respond to a call on Redwing Road in Lovetown, when deputies arrived at the scene they made contact with the subject. A short time later one deputy gets on the radio hollering for help, fighting with subject. Multiple deputies respond to help the two deputies. Deputy McKinney calls back out and advises the suspect is in custody and request that rescue respond to his location for a cut to hand. Lt Ivey request CID respond to make a report of the incident.


The suspect will be taken to the Houston County Jail and possibly charged with resisting arrest and assaulting the deputies.
