Deputy Sheriff Shot During Traffic Stop

A Harris County Georgia Deputy Sheriff was shot in the face during a traffic stop on I-185, just north of Columbus, tonight about 7:30 PM (EST). WTVM- TV reported that the Deputy, who was shot above the left eye, was transported to Columbus Medical Center and taken immediately to surgery.
Authorities are searching for a 1994 Blue Chevrolet Caprice occupied by three black males.
