DEVELOPING: Houston County Sheriff Department Responding To A Theft In Progress

HOUSTON COUNTY:  Houston County Sheriff Department was responding to "Theft In Progress" on Sherwood Trial in Wicksburg. A white male subject was in the process of stealing a television.

A minute or so after dispatch Houston County Sheriff Communications changed to a civil complaint and destruction of property, and the suspect had left the residence. The responding deputies downgraded from emergency response to routine response since the crime was no longer in progress.

Deputies are still responding to make a report and investigate the circumstances.
