DEVELOPING: Shooting in the Slocomb Area

GENEVA COUNTY: Law Enforcement responded to a report of a shooting that occurred just off of Cotton Box Road South of Slocomb. Reports are the suspect a Hispanic male was riding in a vehicle when he shot the front seat passenger. The suspect then fled the scene on foot and law enforcement are attempting to track the suspect using K-9's. The victim was transported to a Dothan hospital for treatment of his gun shot wound.


We understand that multiple agencies are on the scene and are assisting with the investigation. Since the investigation is still on-going no more information is available at this time.
