Did the Groundhog See His Shadow?

Punxcutawney, Pa:  The groundhog, Punxcutawney Phil, emerged from the ground and had some bad news for us.

Today Punxcutawney Phil saw his shadow.

So what does that mean?

Well German tradition states that if a hibernating animal sees its shadow on Feb. 2 – then winter will last another six weeks.
