DALE COUNTY:    Happy Anniversary to Wally and Brandy Olson. On Friday, they have been married for 16 years.


So I assume now, 50% of the married life now, Brandy has donated her husband to the people of Dale County.


What Brandy did not realize 16 years ago when she said I DO, was that 8 years later, her husband would leave home one day and be gone for well over one week. As in the time in Midland City when the bus driver was killed and the child was held underground.


What Brandy did not know 16 years ago, that 50% of her married life her husband would spend 80% of his time on the phone talking to people about their problems. Their family problems, their children or parents on drugs, and how to deal with it and solve it.


But to Brandy Olson, THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU for being a loving, understanding and willing wife of Dale County’s Sheriff, Wally Olson. THANKS for your patience and understanding, and those days when you have had enough and don’t have the patience and understanding, because so many people call on your husband. THANKS.


For those times when your meals are interrupted. For those times you are headed to the movie, but something happens and your night consists of sitting in the truck waiting on Wally. And never making it to the movie.


HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO BRANDY AND WALLY OLSON FOR 16 YEARS OF MARRIAGE THIS PAST FRIDAY.
