Alabama businesses and residents affected by severe thunderstorms and high winds on April 25-26, 2015, can apply for low interest disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
On May 11, Governor Robert Bentley requested a disaster declaration by the SBA. The declaration covers Houston, Dale, Geneva and Henry Counties in Alabama; Jackson in Florida; and Early and Seminole Counties in Georgia.
SBA’s customer service representatives will be available at the Disaster Loan Outreach Center to answer questions about the disaster loan program and help individuals complete their applications. The Center is located in Houston County at the following recreation center and is open as indicated:
