District Attorney for Houston and Henry County has Decided to Drop Out of the Race

Message from Will Matthews - Since announcing my candidacy for District Attorney for Houston and Henry County, I have received a tremendous amount of support from family, friends, clients and peers, for that I cannot fully express my gratitude. 


In these past few weeks, I have been able to give my candidacy the consideration that I was unable to give it before qualifying on November 5th. That decision was made too swiftly and failed to consider some of the consequences of running for office, and being elected.


With my three children, my private practice, my work as a part-time Judge, and my health in mind, I am ending my campaign. I trust that Henry and Houston Counties will be in good hands with any of the three remaining candidates and I with them all the best.
