District Attorney, SHeriff's and Chief of Police Say - NO MORE - You WIll Go To Jail

HOUSTON and HENRY COUNTY: This morning Doug Valeska, District Attorney for the Twentieth Judicial Circuit of Houston and Henry County, flanked by Houston Couty Sheriff Andy Hughes and Henry County Sheriff Will Maddox, and CHief's and representatives from Houston County and Henry County said they have had enough of burglaries.
District Attorney Valeska said, if you committ a burglary in Houston and Henry County, even if the first offense, you will go to prison. Valeska said he will be asking the Judges to place these people in prison, they will be no pre-trial, no reduction, no probation. Valeska pledged prison and he will fight probation or parole if convicted.
Valeska said the crimes are dangerous and people's lives and homes are being violated when the victim of a burglary.
The Sheriff's and CHief of Police echoed the words of District Attorney Valeksa. They also said with the increase of pistol permits residents are becoming armed and it could be dangerous in that home owners could use deadly physical force if the feel their life is in danger.
In the City of Dothan there has been 116 burglaries since January 1 of this year. Law Enforcement and the District Attorney are tired of them and are saying no more.
Henry County Sheriff Will Maddox said his department and the Task Force are close to solving 11 burglaries.
Doug Valeska made it very clear...Committ a burglary in Houston and Henry County, send who you want to in your defense, send who you want to crying to him, but it will do no good. You will go to prison and he will be asking the Judges for the maximum sentence.
