When he observed the Deputies at the front and rear doors, he exited the residence through a window. Dixon landed on his feet after jumping out of the window, and waiting Jackson County Deputies attempted to take him into custody. Dixon became combative and a struggle ensued. A Deputy deployed their department issued Taser and Dixon was placed in hand restraints a few moments later.
Deputies attempted to escort Dixon from the front yard, to the patrol vehicle. While walking, he spit on and head butted, one of the arresting Deputies. Dixon was subsequently placed in the patrol car and transported to JCCF, where he will be lodged, to await First Appearance for the warrant and new charges.
