 DOTHAN: What is the truth?

The issue was raised about sending $ 48,000.00 of Dothan money to a Pensacola Florida company for work in Dothan.

Dothan City Manager Mike West had someone brought to the commission meeting to TRUTHFULLY answer the question.

West said he “thought” they were two local companies that submitted bids. The person brought in to answer the commissioner’s “truthfully” said there were no local bidders.

We have proof that was not the truth. Local people did bid on this.

Sorry Mayor Schmitz, Commissioners Reading, Newsome, Lee, Craig, Barbaree and Seagle…you were NOT told the truth.

Political correct answer…you were provided misinformation.

The Alabama redneck correct answer….somebody lied!
