HOUSTON COUNTY:   Today Coffee County Sheriff Dave Sutton, Henry County Sheriff Will Maddox and Geneva County Sheriff Greg Ward were in the continuing education seminar in Geneva. Spending time to learn to better serve the community.

It is 9:38 PM on Friday night. The Houston County Sheriff Communications Center dispatched a burglar alarm in the county. Houston County Sheriff Andy Hughes is out on the streets was near the location in Cowarts and responded.  Before his arrival the alarm company notified false alarm.

This afternoon Headland Police Chief Mark Jones was on the streets working.

Several weeks ago, at night I saw Dale County Sheriff Wally Olson and Henry County Sheriff Will Maddox on the streets with the troops working the burglaries.

Just letting you know, your elected Sheriff's are on the streets, both day and night working to serve and protect.

 

UPDATE @ 10:14 PM

In monitoring the radios, Dothan Police and Houston County Sheriff Deputies are busy being proactive and working in unison together.

Sheriff Andy Hughes just called out with 3 suspicious persons he is checking out.

Both departments are working hard tonight.

Kinsey and Webb Police Officer also out working hard tonight.
