HOUSTON COUNTY:    This message is to Attorney General Luther Strange and his comrades who have come to Houston County throwing their weight around the Houston County Courthouse. Even with Krispy Kreme donuts!!!

When the bingo issues came to life, our long serving District Attorney Doug Valeska and Houston County Sheriff Andy Hughes has taken the position the law is not clear on this issue. The issue needs to be decided by (1) the Alabama Legislature with clear definitions, or (2) the Alabama Supreme Court – which has jurisdiction.

And to date...BOTH have failed the people of this state!!!

The failure of both the Alabama Legislature and the Alabama Supreme Court to address this issue is cause for impeachment of the Alabama Legislature and the Alabama Supreme Court Justices. Willful neglect of duty.

You will not find people in Houston and Henry County which will not agree that Doug Valeska will prosecute and is diligent in his job. Sometimes to over zealous.

Our Houston County Sheriff is a law and order Sheriff and will do his job.

Luther Strange you issued a press release that District Attorney Doug Valeska was involved in your search warrant. Either you are a liar or Doug Valeska is a liar. Because Doug said he was not.

Houston County Sheriff Andy Hughes sent deputies to the search warrant only to make sure it was not screwed up like John Tyson and Bob Riley did when they came to Houston County. A rookie elementary police officer knows to have a search warrant. They came to intimidate when they could not justify a search warrant. John Tyson is a loud mouth cheap suit wearing motor mouth jerk!!! He abused his power through intimidation.

Luther…make sure you tell the truth to this Grand Jury…

(1)  Doug Valeska says the law is not clear and needs to be clear and addressed by the Alabama Legislature or Alabama Supreme Court.

(2)  Andy Hughes says the law is not clear and needs to be addressed by the Alabama Legislature and or the Alabama Supreme Court.

(3)  The Houston County Commission got “TWO” Attorney General opinions. But we all know the Attorney General Opinions depend on WHO the Attorney General is. Two Attorney General Opinions before they made any decision about electronic bingo.

(4)  The Houston County Commission hired the expert from the Alabama Attorney General’s Office who issued an opinion before the Houston County Commission ( not the current sitting ones being Doug Sinquefield, Jackie Battles and Melinda McClendon they have made NO decisions on electronic bingo) made the decisions about electronic bingo. The sitting commission at the time the decisions were made attempted to get correct legal answers.

Luther…

The City of Dothan, Houston County and the surrounding counties are being tore up on burglaries. People’s homes are being invaded right now because thugs are breaking into their homes. Just today a young lady told me her husband was out of town tonight and she was afraid to stay at her home. She was spending the night with her parents for her safety and the safety of her child.

YET, Luther you have not offered to help protect the people of Dothan and Houston County.  All of the people you have sent to the Houston County Courthouse could have been working with a REAL PROSECUTOR and REAL LAW AND ORDER SHEIRFF and working to protect the people of Dothan and Houston County.

But instead, you are riding with the Indians in some witch hunt on electronic bingo. And when you were a lobbyist with Focus 2000, you supported the project. But now, you are wasting time and resources.

TONIGHT….TONIGHT…moments ago, a Southern Baptist Preacher told me “ when the horse is dead, get off and take your saddle off and walk away. Don’t keep beating him, it’s over!!!”.

People are hurting. Children do not have books and resources needed for education. People with learning disabilities are kicked from their centers which give parents breaks. Projects are not funded, people are without jobs. Crime is taking place, people’s lives are in danger, their homes are being burglarized.

And all you care about is bingo.

We have a Sheriff….We have a District Attorney.  

They have seen more courtrooms then you have ever seen, and solved more crime that you have ever thought about. They are perfectly capable of doing their jobs. What they need is, the Alabama Supreme Court and/or the Alabama Legislature to do their job.

What we need are members of the Alabama Legislature and Alabama Supreme Court to address the issue, we need Alabama Governor Robert Bentley to do what he said, and put this issue to rest LEGALLY.

To the men and women who work for you, I understand…you work for a living and are doing as you are told by some politician. It is not your fault that OUR elected leaders in Montgomery and those you work for are making you do this and allowing the Legislators and Judges to get out of doing their jobs.

The people in this area…we need jobs….we need burglaries stopped. We do not need you Luther when we have capable law enforcement and prosecutors.

In fact, one of the BEST prosecutors this county has had serve, Gary Maxwell, is present at the Houston County Courthouse protecting those you are with hunting on. Gary Maxwell has forgotten more about the law and Grand Juries than you have ever known! ( Gary Maxwell served years at the Chief District Attorney under Doug Valeska until his retirement.) Maxwell is at the Houston County Courthouse working to protect those Strange is witch hunting on.

DISCLAIMER

Again, I could care less if Alabama has bingo or not. But I am offended that Bob Riley and Luther Strange STOLE $ 7.9 million dollars from the people affected by the BP Oil spill to fight bingo. When their hands were caught in the oil barrel, but only after caught, did they return it.

The people of this state should be allowed to make the decision, end this issue and let’s move on. The horse is DEAD and stop wasting time and money…remove members of the Alabama Supreme Court and Alabama Legislature for WILLFUL NEGLECTOF DUTY!!!

The Attorney General’s Office brought two dozen Krispy Kreme Donuts to the Houston County Courthouse as they arrived this morning.
