Dog Has No Respect For Officers Commands

DOTHAN:    Dothan Police Lt. Jeremy Collins has called for Dothan Animal Control to Montgomery Highway near Park Avenue. A dog has refused to obey the commands of Lt. Collins and get out of the road.


It was funny listening to Lt. Collins on the radio when the dog was refusing. Apparently the dog just continued to walk in the middle of the roadway.


Lt. Collins maintained surveillance of the dog. The Animal Control Division has to respond from East Dothan.


Lt. Collins reported the dog was north bound in the south bound lane. Collins called for a mark unit to assist him in the surveillance of the dog to keep him from getting hit by a vehicle.
