Don’t complain about the economy to us, because we’re trying to helpViewed: 4886 Posted by: KFarrell [email protected] 334-699-1475 Date: Mar 05 2015 9:19 AM We have kids ourself, and understand that it’s difficult to take the family to some festivals that have big price tags to get in. Heck, even at $10 or $20 a ticket it’s hard for a family of 4 to cover the costs for a weekend of fun. That’s part of the reason the Tri-State BBQ festival created Kids Cook. With the Kids Cook, for the $10 entry fee, a child receives 2 tickets in to Saturday of the Tri-State BBQ festival (that’s a $20 value), 1 pound of ground beef, 4 buns and a souvenir apron. PLUS they also have the opportunity to win $100, $50 or a trophy in their age division. They only have to turn in one burger, so that gives them the opportunity to make a couple extra burgers for themselves and a parent... so now you also have LUNCH included in your $10 entry fee! Learning to cook is a great skill for anyone, especially children. The Tyndall Federal Kids Cook gives kids that opportunity plus it stretches the family dollar a little further. While at the 10th annual Tri-State BBQ festival on Saturday April 11th, families can also hear great music on stage, watch a bicycle stunt show, visit the Reptile Discovery Program, enjoy the car show, and even bounce in a bounce house FOR FREE. That’s all included in your ticket. PLUS at 2:30 there’a a People’s Choice tasting tent open for FREE BBQ samples. Kids Cook
