Sixth, Seventh, Eighth and ninth grade students at Samson Middle/High School listened to author Mikelyn Bolden of Dothan as she talked about her newly released bookThe Waiz Chronicles Book One Escape From Differe. Jackie Hudson, Samson librarian, arranged for the speaker to come address the students in honor of Read Across America Month. Mrs. Bolden talked to the students, on Thursday, March 14, about the importance of reading and how she came up with the idea to write her book. She also discussed the plot line of her book.
