Dothan Bomb Unit Receives Award

Dothan: The Federal Bureau of Investigations recognized the Dothan Police Departments Bomb and Explosives Unit for their assistance during the hostage standoff in Midland City, Alabama on January 29, 2013. The Dothan Bomb Sqaud was the first bomb unit to arrive at the scene and the last one to leave after Eithan was safe. Dothan Police Chief Greg Benton praised his men for a job well done.


This event took place in the chief’s conference room located at the Dothan Police Department. Each one recognized for their long hours and commitment during the standoff in Midland City.
