Dothan Businessman Ashley Ryan Holder Wanted By Dothan Police Surrenders To Dothan Police

DOTHAN:     Dothan Police Department issued a BOLO last evening for Dothan businessman Ashley Ryan Holder.

Holder was wanted by Investigator Terry Nelson for outstanding arrest warrants for Conspiracy To Commit Insurance Fraud.

After RSN posted the BOLO for Holder he turned himself into the Dothan Police Department.

On April 28 Dothan Police arrested Ashley Ryan Holder for a class B felony of Theft of Property in the first degree.

Holder owns and operates a automotive repair business, ATC Fab and Performance located at 161 Glover Road in Dothan.

The allegations against Holder are that he used a friends Jeep, is reported to have taken the license plate from his friends Jeep, and cased the residence where a boat was located. Later the police investigation indicate that Holder returned on his friends Jeep and stole the boat.

Dothan Police found video of the Jeep coming into the neighborhood and stealing the boat. After an investigation Investigator Nelson called in the owner of the Jeep. After questioning it was determined the Jeep was loaned to Holder. The man who owned the Jeep, a reported friend of Holder, was very shaken and upset that his friend is alleged to have used his Jeep to commit a crime.

Dothan Police, on April 28, arrested Holder on the felony Theft of Property in the first degree. The investigation continued and Investigator Nelson issued additional arrest warrants for Holder. A BOLO was issued attempting to locate him. Holder later surrendered to Dothan Police.

He has been released on bond.

Dothan Police urges anyone that has been a customer of Ashley Ryan Holder or ATC Fab and Performance located at 161 Glover Road and has had thefts to contact Investigator Terry Nelson at 334-615-3000.

Dothan Attorney Billy Joe Sheffield has entered his appearance to represent Holder in court.
