Dothan Couple Charged with 5 counts Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card

On September 30, 2014 the Dothan Police Department made two felony arrests following a recent theft investigation.
Investigators say on September 11, 2014, Carla Vann took a family member’s credit card without permission to make multiple purchases and cash withdrawals from ATM machines throughout the city. Through further investigation, it was determined that Vann’s husband Cletus also used the card for the same purposes.
Both Cletus and Carla Vann have been arrested and charged with multiple counts of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. Their arrest now brings this case to a close.
Carla Rae Vann, white female, 39 years of age, of Ross Clark Circle was arrested and charged with 12 counts Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. Bonds on each charge have been set and totals $30,000.00.
Cletus Eugene Vann, white male, 50 years of age, of Ross Clark Circle was arrested and charged with 5 counts Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. Bonds on each charge have been set and totals $12,500.00.
All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
