The Dothan Education Foundation (DEF) is bringing a unique opportunity to this area, by giving our community the chance to hear Curtis Zimmerman, a highly sought-after speaker. Presenting his message in a very interactive style that empowers, challenges and energizes audiences by using juggling, Simon Says and fire eating...Curtis is not an ordinary speaker!

Zimmerman is set to speak at the Dothan Civic Center on March 6th, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. During this event the DEF will induct members into the first "Marian Loftin Spirit of Education Class." Members of the class include the Dothan City Schools 2013-2014 Teachers of the Year and student representatives from each school. Barnes & Noble will also host a book signing for Curtis Zimmerman's number one best-selling book "Life at Performance Level" that evening and at their Dothan location on Friday.

Tickets are $21 for students, $31 for educators (proper identification required) and $51 for the general public.

Ticket prices include heavy hors d'oeuvres, an opportunity to meet the inductees and to hear Curtis' inspiring leadership message. Ticket sales and a portion of book sales benefit the Dothan Education Foundation, a 501c3 organization.

We are currently pre-selling tickets and need your help to get the word out. Your coverage has made our past events successful and we know this one will be no different. Curtis’ presentation is very media friendly and will be great for both photo and video opportunities. In addition to helping us prior to the event, we hope you’ll join us on March 6th for this interactive and fun life-changing message.

Curtis Zimmerman has presented his inspirational message to more than one million people around the globe, including companies such as Proctor and Gamble, Walt Disney and General Electric and closest to home by leading orientation sessions for Florida State University.
