Dothan- “We’re getting lied to and you know how that makes you feel.” The words of Dothan Fire Chief Larry Williams and sentiments of other members of a board that oversees 9-1-1 emergency phone service for Dothan and Houston County. After repeated failures of the system a backup has recently been sought. It was believed, weeks ago, circuits that would provide redundancy had been ordered by a state agency affiliated with emergency response.
