Dothan Man And Woman Seriously Injured In Bay County Crash

A 2009 Honda Civic was traveling northbound in the inside northbound lane of State Road 77. A 2000 Toyota 4 Runner was traveling southbound in the inside southbound lane of State Road 77. The Civic entered the grass median and began to rotate out of control in a clockwise direction. The Civic then entered the southbound lanes of State Road 77 and into the path of the Toyota. The left side of the Civic collided with the front of the Toyota. The Civic came to rest facing West in the median of State Road 77. The collision redirected the Toyota into the southbound lane and into the path of a 2004 Nissan Altima. The front of the Altima collided with the rear of the Toyota. The Toyota and the Nissan came to rest on the West shoulder of the roadway. The driver of the Civic, Madison A. Hair, 19, Panama City, FL, was critically injured and was trasnported to Bay Medical Center. The driver of the Toyota, Joseph Lewis, 38, Dothan, AL, and the passenger of the Toyota, Kimberly Lewis, 38, Dothan, AL, were both seriously injured in the crash and transported to Bay Medical Center. The driver of the Nissan received minor injuries from the crash.
